The Central Prime Alignment Council (CPAC) is an amalgam
dedicated to the large scale streamlining of the ley-lines
and nodes of the Earth, and the distribution of quintessence
and Tass among the conventions. Needless to say CPAC is very
powerful, and while the symposium may be the highest
authority over the policy, the Council has authority over
the implementation of the policy. 

CPAC has members from all the conventions. The different
conventions are responsible for different aspects of the
work of the council. The New World order is responsible for
security and administrative matters. The Syndicate is
naturally interested in all aspects of the flow of
quintessence, and integrate it into their Market. They are
especially responsible for using the Masses to manipulate
ley-lines and nodes on a global scale. Iteration X is
involved in technical matters. The Void Engineers are
responsible for the upkeep of the Barrier and theoretical
aspects of Primal Engineering. The Progenitors are not very
involved in CPAC, but have representatives and advisors on
the board. 

CPAC seeks to realign the ley-lines which criss-cross the
Earth into a neat and efficient pattern. So far it have
succeeded quite well in some areas. Its decisions are
implemented by the different programs it has started among
the conventions, often in close collaboration with
convention-specific programs and other councils. 

The Infra-Structure Realignment Program (ISRP) is one of the
earliest and most successful programs of CPAC. By building
railways, highways and other types of infra-structure
between cities, the ley-lines of the rural areas are
realigned to point into the cities. This makes the urban
reality stronger and lessens the impact of the chaotic rural
and natural areas outside. Since we has better control over
the cities and can tap the nodes inside easily, the ISR
program also gives us enormous amounts of quintessence. Its
not uncommon for the Conventions to place their regional
headquarters beside highways or in the city core where all
the controlled quintessence collect. A spin-off effect is
that the cold iron in the railways effectively trap the fey,
isolating them into controlled areas. This program has
naturally been tied closely to the Asphalt Barons. 

Another spin-off program, the Large Scale Prime Balancing
Program (LSPB) attempts to use the network of artificial
ley-lines to neutralise fluctuations in the primal fields.
This is useful to avoid the irritating seasonal changes in
mood and reality which appear in some areas, and make sure
static reality is stable and reliable. 

A related program is the Global Prime Integrity Watch (GPIW)
program, which monitors the flow of Prime in the network the
Technocracy has created (and in large natural ley-lines). It
keeps track of fluctuations, and try to pinpoint their
sources. Its closely tied to the Global Integrity Security
Council, which keeps track of the Barrier and other
supernatural dangers to static reality. 

The International Long Range Realignment Program (ILRRP) is
an extension of the ISRP. It deals with large capacity
primal conduits like transcontinental highways, large
waterways and other long range structures like pipelines. It
is also responsible for integration of different projects
across borders and different conventions. 

The Interstellar Quintessence Interception Program (IQIP) is
testing ways of extracting the quintessence flows from
interstellar sources like Cygnus-X1, M87 and the centre of
the galaxy. This is done by the Void Engineers.  Currently
it uses small modifications of existing radio-telescopes to
extract the quintessence while they are observing the target
objects. The results so far have been promising, and IQIP
plan to use the Hubble Telescope to test out the new system
on a large scale. 

The Prime Technology Research Program (PTRP) is developing
new and efficient methods of detecting quintessence,
ley-lines and nodes, methods of safely manipulating them and
ways to neutralise them. Its heavily sponsored by Iteration
X and the Void Engineers. 

The Oceans have long been a stumbling block for the CPAC.
These vast areas have practically no supervision, and in the
lack of large populations of indoctrinated sleepers both the
gauntlet and reality is weak here. Disturbances of reality
is much more common here than on land, and although the main
traffic pass through "safe" areas, certain places like the
Bermuda Triangle are very unstable.  The ley-lines in the
seas are also much more inaccessible and hard to control,
since they are less tied to humanity. On the continental
shelves we have gained some control through their off shore
drillings for oil (thanks to the Geophysical
sub-convention), but the deep sea remains uncontrollable. 

The Global Oceanic Realignment Program (GOR) seeks to solve
these problems. It promotes serious oceanographic research,
and tries to apply its results. One of its earliest
successes was the transatlantic cables, which at least
created some safe ley-lines. One method the mainly Iteration
X sponsored program is to use its more advanced robots to
build realignment foci on the deep ocean floor. Since there
are no sleepers nearby, the program can use much more
convenient methods to build these foci (which mostly are
camouflaged as large basalt formations). 

One problem of the early GOR-program was the whales. They
found that the more intelligent whales was not only highly
intelligent (albeit rather alien) but also often awakened
and generally objected to their research. As a response the
Syndicate was ordered to increase hunting, and today the
most dangerous cetaceans have been nearly extinct. Those who
remain are kept under strict observation. The smaller
dolphins turned out to be much more humanoid, and Iteration
X has experimented with cyber- modifications and other
methods to turn them into an efficient workforce. However,
several tribes of dolphins are objecting to this so the
Progenitors are going to wipe them out with some custom
diseases. 

Another problem is the almost total lack of Barrier in the
deep ocean. Since practically no humans have ever been
there, the Barrier is very weak, and passage to the Outside
is frighteningly simple. A sub-program of GOR, the General
Oceanic Preventative Initiative (GOPI), tries to amend this
by spreading Barrier- increasing chemicals on a large scale.
This is camouflaged as oil- spills, waste dumping and
pollution. Some ecological damage is a small price to pay
for security against the forces from the Outside. 

As seen, CPAC is one of the most active and efficient
councils under the Symposium, and an important tool for the
total Ascension of Mankind.

The Cabalists

The Cabalists are one of the oldest and most influential subgroups in the whole Order of Hermes. Their symbolism and methods is the backbone of modern Western hermeticism. For example, the Seal of Solomon is of Cabalistic origin, as is much of the symbols used in the Circle.

Origin and History

The Cabala is of Jewish origin, and seems to have roots in the magick of the tribes of the middle east, combined with Egyptian and chaldean magick. According to some Cabalists the tradition was received by Moses on Sinai directly from God, but this is unsubstantiated. The oldest Cabala is known as the Merkabah mysticism, or Hechalot (Which means “ascent”). The Merkabah was the name of the throne of God in Hebrew, and the aim of the Merkabah Mystics was to be able to see God upon his Throne. Little is known about this school outside the Order of Hermes and Celestial Chorus. The mystics contemplated the early chapters of Genesis and the Vision of Ezekiel. To perform the ascent the mystic had to pass through the seven palaces of heaven, giving the correct words, talismans and signs to the guardians. The Merkabah mystics were quite obviously influenced by the Celestial Chorus.

During the earliest centuries of the Common Era the Cabala used today began to evolve. The books “Sepher Yetzirah” (“The Book of Formation”) and “Bahir” were written. Greek magick and philosophy influenced the Cabalists. They began to interact with the Order of Hermes and the Gnostics, a group of mages in the Celestial Chorus. During the rise of Christianity the Gnostics were purged by the Chorus and branded heretics. Many joined the Order of Hermes and the Cabalists. This may have been one of the reasons the two traditions fought each other later in the middle ages.

The Cabalists had become an integral part of the Order, but had little influence. They were spread out across Europe, in isolated ethnic groups. Then the Order began the experiment with the false Order of Hermes. Most subgroups in the Order joined forces and began to work together on the great plan. But the Cabalists refused, explaining that they thought the plan was doomed to fail. The rest ignored them and went along with their fateful plan.

After the Failure the Order was on the brink of dissolution. Many of the subgroups, like the Goetic mages, were discredited and dissolved. Many mages left the Order completely. The Cabalists, who had persistently warned the others, suddenly appeared to the disenchanted hermetics as the saviours of the Order. Many non- Jewish mages joined the Cabalists. Suddenly the Cabalists were one of the most influential groups inside the order. Many mages became Cabalists and retreated from the world into Cabalistic study.

This lead to a renaissance for Cabala. In the fourteenth century Moses de Leon wrote Zohar (“The Radiance”), one of the central texts of Cabala. Other hermetic mages developed their own ideas, using cabalistic symbolism and theories. Cabala became one of the cornerstones of the Order, a position it still occupies. Cabala expanded and began to dilute, and lost much of its Jewish origins. At the same time the Cabala was discredited among many Jews after the appearance of a false messiah who actively supported the Cabalists.

New groups emerged from the Order, like the Enochians and Rosicrucians, who based much of their magick on the Cabala. The Order of Hermes continued forward, and the Cabalists influence began to wane. It began to return to its roots, and became more Jewish again. At the same time Cabalistic methods, ideas and symbols had become mainstream in the Order. It is often required training for an initiate in the order to understand some of the Cabala.

Today the Cabalists are an small subgroup, but held in great respect by most hermetics. They still exert a noticeable influence on the theories of the Order. There are many types of Cabalists, ranging form ultra orthodox Jews to secular mages happily mixing Cabala, Enochiana and Goetia and performing Gematria on computers.

Links to Other Groups

Cabalists have often had ties to the Celestial Chorus, and have influenced their thought too. In fact, some Cabalists think of themselves more as members of the Chorus than the Order. The Cabalists are the strongest link between the Traditions, and often employed as diplomats and envoys. There are however a small group inside the Chorus who actively work against the Cabalists, perhaps due to their ethnic origin or even their old involvement with the Gnostics (which now partly have returned to the Chorus to complicate matters further). The Cabalists are conservative hermetics, which mean they do not meddle in the affairs of mortals. The point out that every time mages have done this, the end result have been disaster. Instead mages should spend their time in study, and work to understand magick before imposing their ideas on humanity. Most mages have only half an idea of what they are going to accomplish, and tend to become corrupted when confronted with the mundane world.

The Ahl-I-Batin and Cabalists have had many contacts, and share much of their basic philosophy. There is no sharp dividing line between the Batin and the Cabalists, and nobody tries to draw any. However, most Cabalists dislike the meddling in mortal affairs of some Batin groups, pointing out what happened in Europe last time.

The Cabalists are not very interested in war with the Technomancers. They have a long history of stoically surviving attacks from sleepers, mages and the technomancers. Instead of fighting, they try to avoid the enemy and wait. Patience is their weapon, as they know that whatever may happen, it will not last forever. This may be their greatest mistake.

The Cabala

In the Cabalistic world view, everything is symbolic for something else, and the world is filled with subtle connections. Even the most trivial text or thing hides deep secrets. Using this knowledge the Cabalists hope to understand the universe fully. God created the universe by allowing some of his quintessence to flow down, transmutating into the materiel universe. The goal for many Cabalists is to understand this process, the universe and the way back to God. The idea of God in Cabalism is quite complex, and not necessarily religious in character. God has many names with different powers ruling over hierarchies of angels, but is also a completely abstract entity. Many Cabalists say that it is impossible to say anything about the nature of God, except possibly what things God isn’t.

The most important symbol in Cabala today is the Sephirothic Tree, a diagram consisting of ten spheres (“Sephiroth”) and 22 paths joining them. This is a kind of blueprint for the universe, showing how the quintessence flows down into the material world through different levels. Each sephiroth represents one type of existence. The lowest. Malkuth, the Kingdom, represent the material world. The highest, Keter, the Crown, is the source of the unmanifest quintessence. Between these there are sephiroth representing for example Force, Form, Intelligence and Balance. Each sephiroth corresponds to a number, a colour, different names of God and other symbols. The 22 paths correspond to the 22 letters in Hebrew and the Major Arcana of the Tarot. The system has many similarities to the enochian theory.

The Tree does not only represent the creation, it also represents the human mind. Each sephiroth correspond to a part of the mind or soul. Using this knowledge, a Cabalist may use his magick to transfer energy from one sephiroth to another to change himself or the world around him. For example, a mage wishes to temporarily increase his speed of thought. He invokes Hod (Splendour, intellectual clarity), using the number 8, the colour Orange, Mercury, Cinnamon and the names for the angels of Hod. If he had wished to become stronger he would have invoked Geburah (mental strength) or Malkuth (physical strength).

Another important part of Cabala is the esoteric study of holy texts. A text often contains subtle secrets, which can be revealed by the mage. Gematria consists of calculating the number of a word by giving each letter a value (for example A=1, B=2 and so on) and adding this together. This number represents the word, and words that have the same number have some connection. For example in Hebrew, AChD (Unity)=13=AHBH (Love). And 13+13=26=YHVH, the unspeakable name of God.

Other ways of finding the secrets in a text is to read only the first letter in every word, or every 50th letter. In Notarikon, the mage creates acronyms for sentences, or try to find the sentences hidden in acronyms. Temura mixes the letters according to some rules, like A becomes B, B C, and so on (Avgad) or Aiq Bekr, in which the letters are divided into nine equivalence classes and exchanged inside these classes. This numerology and word magick is often used in constructing talismans and words of power, and to hide secrets inside seemingly innocuous texts.

Cabalistic Magick is often ceremonial like the Enochian system, and often more directed toward enlightenment and the acquisition of knowledge than practical matters. Many Cabalists spend more time studying than performing magick. Still, the Cabalists have shown competence in creating useful talismans and defences against spirits and malign forces.

Cabalistic talismans are often pieces of parchment inscribed with symbols, names and ciphers. They are often worn as an amulet around the neck. They seldom have direct, obvious effects like talismans of other traditions. Instead they often help the mage perform his magick (for example by lowering target numbers) or protect him. The Cabalists are well known for their talismans against evil spirits. Typical examples of talismans are talismans of health, which help the bearer to recover, talismans of Hod, which make the bearer quicker, more businessminded and more intellectual and talismans of Michael, giving the bearer protection against evil forces.

Cabalists are very interested in spirits and their realms. Most common is simple scrying into the Umbra, but some Cabalists actually travel through it. They are very interested in the relation of the Celestines to each other and the world, and try to collect as much information as possible about the geography of the Umbra. Another area of research are evil or disharmonious spirits and realms known as the Qlippoth, or “shells”. They are thought to be leftovers or flawed parts of the creation, which have not yet been recycled.

Cabalists often use hierarchies of angels, somewhat like the Enochians. The holy names of God are used to call upon angels and spirits of different levels. There are angels associated with the sephiroth, the paths and different material phenomena. To accurately understand and remember the angelic hierarchy is one of the most important steps in learning Cabala.

Instead of using the common nine spheres, some Cabalists use the sephiroth as spheres instead. This means that sephirothic magick concentrate on the desired result, not on the exact way of achieve it. A normal mage will heal someone by using the sphere of life to repair the patients damaged pattern. A Cabalist in the same situation would call upon the forces of mercy and health (Chochma and Tiphareth) and allow them to heal the patient in the best way. If the magick work correctly, both methods will lead to the same result. Cabalists tend to excel at static magick in their daily lives, and use dynamic magick only in their temples.

Philosophy

As above, so below. The universe is filled with connections, both subtle and obvious. Everything, how small or trivial it may seem, has some hidden significance. The forces which rule the Macrocosm are like the forces which rule the Microcosm of man. Study these subtle secrets, which are revealed in the holy texts and the dance of the letters. We will find out way upwards in the Tree, towards Keter and the divine brilliance behind the Three Veils. But we will not follow the way of the Staff, the path of the Mystic. Instead we will follow the way of the Serpent, the path of the Mage, balancing the forces of the universe as we progresses. Along the way we must help other seekers to find their paths, even if they are not parallel to ours. Beware the Qlippoth, for they will weight you down and drag you down into the matter.

Mankind has its place in the world and a part in the great plan. But we mustn’t interfere with this, as our destiny is not the same as the destiny of humanity.

Organisation and Meetings

Very informal, if any at all. Cabalists are often solitary, and meet in informal ways to discuss their latest theories and ideas. Many Cabalists communicate only by mail (or using magick).

Initiation

The Cabalists seldom have one obvious initiation, mentors preferring to guide their initiate slowly through several years of study. The mentor often begin by giving the initiate texts to translate and analyse, then continues with more and more complex problems in gematria and symbolism. The initiate slowly understand more and more, until he suddenly gain insight in the interconnectedness of the universe. Often the initiate swears an oath afterwards, affirming his determination to the study of magick.

Chantry

The Cabalists have few chantries, but the most important lies in Prague. This chantry houses the second largest library in the whole Order (The largest is probably Cordoba). This library contains many extremely rare tomes, in every conceivable language. Especially books from the middle east are very well represented. Many mages from other traditions visit the Library.

Sphere

Spirit or Forces. Many Cabalists study Mind and Prime with great zeal. Matter and Entropy is regarded as a bit dangerous, and study is sometimes discouraged by other Cabalists. Still, many Cabalists have had important insights in the structures of Matter and the role of Entropy.

Foci

Cabalists almost always use the conventional foci of Order of Hermes, mostly because it was they who defined them. When using sephirothic magick they prefer to have things around them associated to the sephiroth used. A mage using Geburah would draw pentagrams, wear red clothes, wield an iron sword and burn irritating incense. It is not necessary, but many mages claim it makes the magick easier. Often only some symbol for the sephiroth used is needed, like an iron knife for Geburah or a golden ring for Tiphareth. Language: Almost always Hebrew, but unorthodox Cabalists use Latin, enochian or other languages.

Circle: Tend to be inscribed with Hebrew names of angels, powers and the secret names of God. Often housed in a consecrated room or temple.

“Contemplate the secret meaning of the Seal of Solomon. The lower triangle is the symbol of fire, and the upper triangle the symbol of water. Water and Fire. The Star of David show two opposites balancing each other in perfect harmony, creating something greater than its parts. It is a fitting symbol for the Macrocosm. Notice it has six rays, showing that it represent Tiphareth. If you put it on the Tree, its rays will point at the planets, with the Sun at its centre. It is a most powerful symbol of balance.”

Stereotypes

Ahl-I-Batin: We are so alike, yet they do not realize the danger of overly meddling in mortal affairs. Have they not learned at least from their own mistakes?
Akashic Brotherhood: They understand much, but unfortunately only on an intuitive level. Their intuition serve them well, but they will not be able to go further until they understand what they feel.
Celestial Chorus: Our brothers and sisters. They have indeed seen the light. We feel sorry for them in their fall, but perhaps it was necessary for them to experience humility. We sincerely hope that they will rise again. The world needs them.
Cult of Ecstasy: Spending their lives in the sphere of sensation, without any thought of tomorrow. Pitiful, and ultimately doomed. If they do not rise above the lower planes, they will fall prey to Qlippoth of their own creation.
Dreamspeakers: These mages worship Malkuth, the daughter of God. They seek to restore the balance, to reunite her with her husband in Tiphareth. Unfortunately their magick is primitive and too bound to the lower planes to be of any use.
Enochians: Strange mages. They have indeed found something, or is it something that has found them?
Euthanatos: Perhaps this Tradition have understood the Abyss of Daath better than any others. But they have not crossed it yet. If they manage to do that, they will become something never seen before.
Hollow Ones: Strange children. We do not understand them.
Order of Hermes: Our brethren have taught us much, and they have learned much from us. But have they really understood what we have said?
Rosicrucians: They haven’t learned anything from the great Failure. They try to repeat it again, this time using some of our magick too. They could be the downfall of the whole Order.
Sons of Ether: Whatever one may say about their “magick”, they have at least understood the need to avoid mundane society.
Verbena: Trapped in the lower worlds. Their blood- magick is obviously of Qlipphotic origin. They represent the dark side of Malkuth, Lillith, the queen of flesh and lust. They should be studied, but very carefully.
Virtual Adepts: They don’t know it yet, but their computers are based upon the secret patterns of letters and numbers we have seen. We have done the same things as they do now for centuries, but by hand. Still, computers are very useful for some magick, but you should know what you really are doing and treat the symbols with respect. Their lack of respect for the powers they use will one day spell their doom.

Rotes

The Yetziratic Sealing Rite (Mind 3)

Originally from Sepher Yetzirach, this rote is widely used for protection. The mage draw permutations of the letters Yud, Heh and Vav in the six directions with an incense stick while praying. Now the mage is protected as long as the rote is active. People around the mage will ignore him and will not remember him very well, if at all. They will not think about the mage if he does not attract attention. This rote became very popular among the Rosicrucians, who called their rote the Rose Cross Ritual (In which the mage draws crosses instead of letters) [ The rote will make people overlook the mage. Three successes are enough to be ignored by all people in the vicinity of the mage. Each success will subtract one die from every perception roll to spot the mage, as long as he does not attract attention. Since most people ignore each other anyway, the mage will in effect be almost invisible]

The Middle Pillar Ritual (Prime 2)

This rote will strengthen the body, mind and soul of the mage. The mage stands and visualises himself as the middle pillar of the Sephirothic Tree. Below him is the material world, and above his head Keter, the source of prime. He feels the energy flowing through him, into the world and from the world back to the source. The mage will feel filled with power, in perfect balance of mind and body. [ The mage will pump quintessence into his own pattern for a while. This will temporary strengthen the mages own pattern and hopefully weaken intruding patterns. Each success will remove one success of magick (Both helpful and harmful), like a countermagick roll. The target number for the rote is the highest sphere involved in the effect + 3, or 5, whichever is highest. It will not heal any damage already done nor stop any flaws in the mages own pattern. Prolonged use of this rote have been shown to cause egocentricity, as the mage unconsciously begin to believe he is the centre of the universe. ]

Bless the Faithful Servant (Prime 2 Spirit 2)

The mage blesses a spirit, pouring quintessence into its pattern. This is something most spirits desire, as it will make them more powerful in the long run. Besides, at least to a human, they seem to derive pleasure from it. This rote is often used to thank spirits who have helped the mage.

The Invocation of the Four Archangels. (Spirit 2)

The mage stand with his arms straight out to the sides, so that his body forms a cross. He invokes the four Archangels: “Before me Raphael. Behind me Gabriel. On my right hand, Michael. On my left hand, Uriel. For around me flames the pentagram, and within me shines the six-rayed star.” By using this rote, the mage will scare away most spirits, fearful for the powerful Archangels and the powerful mage. The Rosicrucians have developed their own version, the Lesser Banishing of the Pentagram, which works in almost the same way. [ The Archangels will normally not appear in person, but will (if the mage is lucky) send subordinates to the mage. They will not manifest physically, but their presence is often felt. The subordinate angels will scare away lesser beings from the vicinity. After they are done, they will report back to their superiors what happened. It is very unwise to misuse this rote.]

Conspiracy

I believe that there are conspiracies currently at work in forming and controlling power structures in American society. However, I believe that the bulk of these do not consist of groups of rich and powerful suited men smoking cigars in bodyguard protected meetings at the tops of skyscrapers or in secluded mountain chalets. Rather, conspiracy results from the passive societal evolution. Borrowing from Darwin, things which can’t successfully compete and reproduce them selves die out. Similarly, societal systems — power relations, moralities, cultural differences, even drugs, diseases, assassinations — are allowed only if they meet the needs of the current power structure. For example, there didn’t need to be active governmental involvement to make heroin a primarily African-American problem; all the government and suppor ting structures (the White nuclear family with traditional American values, school systems, mass-media) needed to do to accomplish the same thing was ignore the problem except when it began to affect those with closer ties to American power. Likewise AIDS: it was ignored until it was mainstream and threatened power. Even JFK: he would have been better protected if American power actively wanted him to live. In short, the model of passive conspiracy explains social conditions as well as the active model and seems at least as feasible.

I briefly looked at Autoblog’s mention of the sQuba concept the other day, but I must have been too astounded by the idea of a submersible car to realize that, hey, that thing’s all-electric. ABG tipster Domenick, though, sent in a note about the sQuba and pointed out that this ridiculous little thing is a ZEV. The sQuba won’t be used by James Cameron any time soon, but it can go up to 10 meters underwater and contains an oxygen supply in the cab.The power, according to Gizmag, comes from a 37 kW electric motor for on-land use and two 3.6 kW rear jet drives for underwater propulsion. Oh, and the sQuba can also drive itself. That’s a lot of concepts to put into one concept car, but Rinspeed won’t need to worry about unhappy customers; this thing is a one-off destined for the stand at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show, and that’s it.[Source: Autoblog, Gizmag. Click image for a huge photo galleryWe all had a chuckle at the idea of the Rinspeed sQuba Concept when the initial renderings of the Geneva-bound concept emerged. The Swiss tuner and specialty manufacturer gets the last laugh, however, as it has released photos and video of the actual car operating submerged, and you know what? It’s awesome. The sQuba (the “Q” in the name appears to be a nod to the gadget-producing Q Branch in the James Bond universe) is a full EV that relies on three separate electric motors to accomplish its mission. One powers the sports car when it’s driving on land, while the others supply juice to the twin screws used for underwater propulsion. Movable fender-mounted Seabob jets appear to serve the same purpose as the diving planes on a traditional sub. Oh, and did we mention that it is capable of autonomous operation on land?The car features on-board underwater breathing apparatus for its driver and passenger, who sit in a salt water-resistant cockpit fitted with high-friction surfaces designed to help keep them planted in their seats. Rinspeed notes that a roadster was the chosen body style for the sQuba because its open-top configuration is more bouyant and allows for easier egress in the event of an underwater emergency. Some might deem it pointless, but the sQuba is the best kind of concept car: a flight of fancy that just also happens to work. So demonstrated impressively by Roger Moore in ‘The Spy Who Loved Me” in 1977 when he dove below the waves in a sleek vehicle that moments before seemed to be an ordinary car. The only problem: The scene never really took place; it was an animation.With the “sQuba,” the world’s first real submersible car, the movie fake now becomes reality for visitors of the Geneva Motor Show (March 6th – 16th, 2008). Rinspeed boss Frank M. Rinderknecht (52) is known for his extraordinary automotive creations. The acknowledged James Bond enthusiast and Swiss automobile visionary kept revisiting this scene in his mind over and over: “For three decades I have tried to imagine how it might be possible to build a car that can fly under water. Now we have made this dream come true.”And it is this submerged stabile flight at a depth of 10 meters that sets the “sQuba” apart from military vehicles. While the latter can go under water, they are limited to driving slowly over the submerged ground. Rinderknecht: “It is undoubtedly not an easy task to make a car watertight and pressure resistant enough to be maneuverable under water. The real challenge however was to create a submersible car that moves like a fish in water.”It also had to be a sports car that was converted into a diving dream in the facilities of Swiss engineering specialist Esoro. In a first step the combustion engine was removed and replaced by several electric motors. Three motors are located in the rear. One provides propulsion on land, the other two drive the screws for underwater motoring. They are supported by two powerful Seabob jet drives in the front, which ‘breathe’ through special rotating louvers from HS Genion (for opening and closing the water intake). The rotating outlet jets were designed to be extremely light yet twist resistant by using high-tech nano materials, so-called Carbon Nano Tubes.It is a sure bet that the “sQuba” will steal the show from any ‘Baywatch‘ beauty on the beach. And easily, too: You drive the car into the water and the car floats. That is, until you crack the door to let the water in. Immediately the “sQuba” starts on his way to the underwater world. The occupants’ breathing air comes from an integrated tank of compressed air that divers know from scuba diving. Rinderknecht: “For safety reasons we have built the vehicle as an open car so that the occupants can get out quickly in an emergency. With an enclosed cabin opening the door might be impossible.” But safety wasn’t the only reason for choosing an open-top design: With an enclosed volume of just two cubic meters of air the vehicle weight would have to increase by two tons (!) to counteract the unwanted buoyancy, giving the “sQuba” the land mobility of a turtle. Without occupants the “sQuba” surfaces automatically. It is even capable of autonomous driving on land thanks to a sophisticated laser sensorsystem from the Hamburg company Ibeo – without any help from the driver or passenger.Power is supplied by rechargeable Lithium-Ion batteries. Rinderknecht: “The ’sQuba’ is a zero-emission car as documented by the rotating license plate in the rear. It produces no exhaust emissions. The Swiss are among the world’s pioneers in the area of hydropower. The ’sQuba’s’ filling station is the water reservoir.” It is no surprise that the vehicle features powerful yet energy-saving LED lighting technology.3-D foil elements with embossed fish and sharkskin patterns from Wetzel Processing Group and Hornschuch add visual pizzazz and streamline the exterior. Together with styling elements from Foliatec they create a harmonious velvety matt-white appearance. For shore leave the “sQuba” relies on a stainless coil-over suspension from KW automotive and large Pirelli tires mounted on custom-made forged light-weight wheels from AEZ with 17-and 18-inch diameters. But the “sQuba” is really at home in the water. To make the occupants feel at home there as well the innovative salt-water resistant interior from Strähle + Hess features genuine mother-of-pearl trim and diamond-plated non-slip inlays from KGS Diamond, normally used in high-tech abrasives. After all, ‘diamonds are a girl’s best friends.’ The high-tech VDO instrument cluster and controls create a futuristic ambiance and allowcontrolling all vehicle functions even while submerged.Frank M. Rinderknecht and his partners – amongst them also the fleet specialist LeasePlan – have created a truly unusual vehicle and in the process have thought of everything. Even the Motorex lubricants used in the ’sQuba” are biodegradable. For the Rinspeed boss that is a meticulousness stemming from conviction: “The ’sQuba’ lets me be one with the elements and lets me immerse myself in a new and fascinating world – with Q factor. So the Rinspeed “sQuba” fits perfectly to Esoros motto: engineered by Esoro – What you dream is what you get. For the ninth time the Swiss engineering company Esoro was hired to serve as generalcontractor for the entire project. Esoro was responsible for project management, implementation of new technologies, engineering, rendering, design and the manufacturing of the Rinspeed “sQuba”. Esoro realized the Rinspeed “sQuba” with the help of its highly competent suppliers. Starting with initial concepts, it took the highly skilled development team just six months to realize the entire project.For 17 years now, Esoro has been a contract developer of concept vehicles, components and products, main focus is lightweight construction and mobility. Immer häufiger taucht der Begriff Anunnaki auf, die von den Plejaden stammen sollen. Wer sind denn nun diese Anunnaki? Was haben sie auf der Erde getrieben und warum sind sie überhaupt hierher gekommen? Waren sie wirklich Götter oder einfach nur fortgeschrittenere Bewohner eines anderen Sternensystems?

Gibt es mythologische oder historische Spuren von ihnen und welche Kulturen verweisen auf sie? Gibt es einen Zusammenhang zwischen ihnen und der Sintflut? Was geschah wirklich bei dem Turmbau zu Babel?

Es ist von Manipulationen die Rede, sie sollen uns sogar für Sklavendienste erschaffen und ihre Gene mit den unseren vermischt haben. Sie sollen Kulturen gegründet und vernichtet haben und wollten als unsere Götter verehrt werden. Konnten sie etwa tun und lassen was ihnen so einfiel? Gab es keine Grenzen?

Doch – es gab eine Grenze! Nach dem Einsatz einer Strahlenwaffe, deren tödliche Wirkung sich weit ins Universum ausbreitete, schaltete sich die Intergalaktische Föderation ein.

Nein, bestraft in unserem Sinne wurden sie nicht! Doch als Folgen ihrer Handlungen hatte sich eine Wand gebildet, die ihre weitere Entwicklung stoppte. Diese Wand kann nur dadurch beseitigt werden, indem sie das wieder gutmachen, was sie durch ihre Einmischung in unseren Evolutionsprozess angerichtet haben…

Aus Inannas Sicht werden darin die Familienmitglieder und die Ereignisse auf der Erde während des Aufenthalts der Anunnaki beschrieben. Sie begannen vor 500.000 Jahren unseren Planeten, den sie Terra nennen, für ihre Zwecke zu kolonisieren.

	Der Anfang auf Terra


	Im Auftrag von ANU ging zuerst ENKI, der Meistertechniker, nach Terra und bereitete den Abbau der Rohstoffe von Terra vor. ENLIL folgte ihm bald und ihre Schwester NINHURSAG, Genetikmeisterin und Hauptärztin von NIBIRU, schloss sich an. Da Enlil Anus direkter Nachfolger war, wurde er als Führer ernannt. Die Nibiru-Astronauten übernahmen in der Umlaufbahn auf dem Satellitenschiff die Absicherung und Überwachung der Transitfähren. Die Anunnaki, eine Gruppe von Kriegern, Wissenschaftlern und Technikern gingen nach unten, um dort die Rohstoffe abzubauen und den Planeten für ihre Zwecke zu kolonisieren. Zunächst waren sie recht begeistert, da ihnen Land und Reichtum versprochen war, doch bald wurde ihnen die Arbeit zu mühsam und sie lehnten es ab, weiter so zu schuften. Nach endlosen Streitereien zwischen ENLIL und ENKI fiel ihnen eine Lösung des Problems ein: sie brauchten Sklaven für die schwere Arbeit in den Minen. Auch auf Terra gab es genügend genetisches Material der verschiedenen Lebewesen, aus denen sich eine Arbeiterrasse züchten lies. (Der Homo erectus ) ENKI und NINHURSAG machten sich sofort an die Arbeit, während ENLIL sich mit dem Aufbau einer Infrastruktur befasste, Flüsse umleitete, Dämme baute und sich um die Landwirtschaft kümmerte. Später wurden die Herrschaftsgebiete auf Wunsch von ENLIL, der sich als wahrer Sohn von ANU sah, geteilt. ENLIL übernahm die Herrschaft über Sumer, den Bergbau in Afrika, den Weltraumbahnhof und das Kommando über die Anunnaki. ENKI behielt ABZU in Afrika und Ägypten. Doch trotz aller Übereinkünfte stritten sich die Brüder ständig und waren grundsätzlich gegen die Entscheidungen des anderen. Leider übertrugen sie diese Streitlust auch auf ihre Kinder, so dass alle auf Terra in diesen immerwährenden Bruderkrieg hinein gezogen wurden.


	Die Bewohner von Terra bei Ankunft der ANUNNAKI:


	Das Drachenvolk


	Sie leben in riesigen Höhlen im Inneren Terras zum Schutz vor den Strahlenstürmen und Verwerfungen im Magnetfeld. Seit Äonen schufen sie in friedlicher Koexistenz mit den Schlangenleuten endlose Höhlen- und Tunnelsysteme, die in sich die Kraftstrudel enthalten, die ihnen die Energie liefern und reiche Ressourcen an Edelsteinen und Metallen beherbergen. Bei der Ankunft der Anunnaki kam es zu einigen Kämpfen, da die Drachenleute ihre friedliche Koexistenz mit allen anderen Bewohnern bedroht sahen. Doch schließlich kam es zu einer Übereinkunft, die jeder Partei ihre Bereiche zuwies. Um diesen Bund zu besiegeln, heiratete ANU die Drachenprinzessin ID. Aus dieser Verbindung ging ihr gemeinsamer Sohn ENKI hervor, der von ID auf Nibiru erzogen wurde.


	Das Schlangenvolk


	Sie entstammen der uralten Rasse der NAGAS und waren vor Äonen von ALTAIR gekommen. Man sagt ihnen große Weisheit nach und die Anwendung von Frequenzen, die anderen Rassen unverständlich sind. Sie können in der Dunkelheit sehen, haben telepathische Fähigkeiten und die Möglichkeit zum Gruppenbewusstsein. Sie sind nicht an der weltlichen Macht interessiert. Unter den Schlangenleuten gibt es verschiedene Körpertypen, deren Formen zwischen Mensch, Schlangen oder Reptilien in unterschiedlichen Mischungen variieren. Das unter der Oberfläche liegende Königreich der Schlangenleute ist riesig. Hier gibt es viele Städte, deren weiße Alabastertürme alles über-strahlen, sowie Gärten und Felder zur reichlichen Nahrungsversorgung. Von den Polen Terras wird Frischluft durch die umfangreichen Tunnel-systeme geleitet.


	Der Homo erectus

	Diese menschliche Kreatur auf der Oberfläche des Planeten ernährte sich von Pflanzen, bewohnten die Steppen zusammen mit anderen Tieren, die alle einander liebten und achteten. Sie waren wild, frei und eins mit den Frequenzen von Terra. Sie besaßen auch die Gabe der Telepathie, durch die sie sich mit den anderen Arten auf Terra verständigen konnten. Sie machten sogar die Fallen unbrauchbar, die von den Anunnaki ausgelegt wurden, um ihre Freunde zu fangen.

Die Genmanipulation

	Nach einigen Versuchen mit dem auf Terra vorhandenen DNS-Material fanden Enki und Ninhursag heraus, dass die DNS des Homo erectus am besten für die Erschaffung einer Arbeiter- und Sklavenrasse geeignet war. Sie sollten willige Befehlsempfänger sein, sich nicht auflehnen können und gerade so viel Intelligenz und Körperkraft besitzen, um in den Minen schuften zu können. Enkis Frau Ninki erklärte sich bereit, den ersten Lulu zu gebären. Somit wurde das Blut der Menschen und Anunnaki vermischt und die genetischen plejadischen Codes auf die menschliche Art übertragen, wie auch das reptilische Gehirn. Bald trugen viele weitere weibliche Anunnaki die auf diese Weise befruchteten Eizellen aus. Die ersten Lulus sahen somit die Anunnaki als ihre Schöpfer, als „Götter” an, welche diese Vor-stellung natürlich förderten, um sie besser beherrschen zu können.


	Vermehrungsprobleme und die erste, arrangierte Hungersnot


	Da ständig mehr Arbeitskräfte erforderlich waren, musste die Fortpflanzung angeregt werden. Diese Aufgabe fiel Inanna zu, die ja in der Kunst der Liebe von ihrer Groß-mutter Antu ausgebildet worden war. Sie ließ viele Tempel bauen, erfand Zeremonien und Rituale, durch die sie ihre Kennt-nisse der sexuellen Frequenzen an die Lulus und die Anunnaki weitergeben konnte. Sie wusste, dass die höhere Energien der heiligen Vereinigung gesündere Babys hervor bringt und Seelen entsprechend der erzeugten und abgegebenen Frequenzen anzieht. Die Lulus waren dank ihrer telepathischen Fähigkeiten sehr gelehrige Schüler und für die Anunnaki war es ein neuer Reiz, sich mit den Lulus zu paaren. Bald wetteiferten die Lulus untereinander, wer mehr „Götterblut” in sich hatte, was dann zu Streitereien und Unfrieden führte. Enlil war entzürnt und beunruhigt durch dieses unkontrollierbare Fortpflanzungs-chaos. Um die Lulus wieder loszuwerden, beschloss er kurzerhand, sie verhungern zu lassen und setzte dies auch im Familienrat durch. Doch Enki war natürlich gegen diese Entscheidung und wollte nicht tatenlos zusehen, wie die von ihm miterschaffenen Lulus einfach ausgerottet wurden, deshalb schmuggelte er heimlich Nahrung zu ihnen. Damit rettete er vielen Lulus das Leben, worüber Enlil nicht gerade erfreut war.


	Die Sintflut


	Als Enlil in der Raumstation die Schwankungen im Magnetfeld von Terra erkannte, wusste er, dass die Achse des Planeten wieder mal kurz davor war, sich neu auszu-richten, was eine riesige Flutwelle mit sich brachte. Das war die Gelegenheit, die Lulus loszuwerden und Enki eins zu verpassen und so hielt er dieses Wissen geheim, um einer Evakuierung vorzubeugen. Die große Flut kam dann für die anderen ganz unerwartet. Im letzten Moment retteten die „Götter” sich in ihre Raumschiffe und sahen von dort aus zu, wie „ihre Lulus” ertranken. Nur Inanna und Ninhursag begriffen, wie sehr sie die Lulus liebten, die wie ein Teil von ihnen waren und sie weinten voller Verzweiflung. Doch Enki hatte durch seine Spione auch von der Polverschiebung erfahren und beschlossen, wenigstens eine Familie vor der Flut zu retten. Dazu suchte er Noah aus, natürlich aus seiner Erblinie, er sah Enki sogar sehr ähnlich. Allerdings war die Arche aus der Überlieferung ein Unterseeboot und die „Tierpaare” waren haltbargemachtes Genmaterial. So rettete Enki gegen Enlils Willen die Lulus und die Streitigkeiten der Brüder drohten zu eskalieren, als Enki trickreich die Weisheit Enlils lobte, so zu dem besten genetischen Material gekommen zu sein, das die Überlebenden darstellten. So lenkte Enlil ein, wohl auch die Notwendigkeit sehend, dass er Arbeiter für den Gold-abbau und die Errichtung seiner Gebäude brauchte. Allerdings wurden nun Gesetze erstellt, die die Begattung und Verheiratung der Lulus regelten.

	Überlieferung historisch/mythologisch: In der babylonischen Fassung der Sintflut warnt der Gott Enki je nach Fassung den Menschen Ziusudra, Atrahasis oder Utnapischtim vor einer Flut, die alles menschliche Leben vernichten wird, und rät ihm, ein Schiff zu bauen. (In der biblischen Fassung spricht der Gott Jahwe/Elohim direkt zu Noach.) Die Situation wird durch einen Verschwiegenheits-Eid, den Enki den anderen Göttern schwören musste, verkompliziert, sodass Enki mit der List, nur gegen eine Schilfwand des Hauses, in dem der Mensch schläft, zu sprechen, seine Verpflichtung erfüllt und dennoch den Menschen Kenntnis von der Flut verschafft. Daraufhin reißt der Mensch sein Haus ein und baut daraus ein Boot, mit dem er dann sein Leben und das seiner Familie rettet. (Shurrupak im unteren Mesopotamien wird als die Stadt angesehen, in der Utnapishtim wohnte. Aufgrund von Sedimenten ist im Bereich 4. bis 3. Jahrtausends v. Chr. eine Flut um den Fluss Euphrat herum bekannt.)


	Die Göttlichen MEs - Zitat


	„Die MEs beruhen auf einer Technologie, die erst jetzt auf Terra entdeckt wird. Stelle dir einen Computer vor, der alles Wissen des Universums enthält. Dieser Computer überträgt das Wissen in den Geist des Benutzers in Form eines Hologramms. Auf diese Weise wird das Wissendem Besucher holographisch übermittelt, so dass das Lernen nicht Stück für Stück auf lineare Weise stattfindet. Der Eigentümer der MEs hat augenblicklich das volle Verständnis der Information in jeder ME. Wissen ist Macht – die Macht, Zivilisatioinen zu erschaffen, die Bewegungen der Sterne vorher zu sagen, in Bereiche jenseits von Terra zu reisen, die Atmosphäre zu beeinflussen und alle Wissenschaften und Künste. Die MEs erscheinen als zwölfseitige Kristalle von großer Schönheit und Färbung und können nur aktiviert werden, wenn man die geheimen Laute kennt, die sie zum Schwingen bringen und sie ihre Geheimnisse preisgeben lassen. Ninhursag hat mich auf Nibiru diese Laute gelehrt.”


	INANNA, ENKI und die MEs


	Für jedes Familienmitglied wurde unter Enkis Obhut in Abzu ein Satz MEs aufbewahrt. Einige der Söhne hatten bereits ihre MEs erhalten. Um nicht ganz leer auszugehen, zumal die Bereiche auf Terra immer wieder nur unter den Söhnen von Enki und Enlil aufgeteilt wurden, beschloss Inanna, sich wenigstens ihren Satz der MEs von Enki zu holen. Sie hoffte hierbei auf Enkis Schwäche für Frauen und Bier. So besuchte sie ihn und drei Tage lang feierten, lachten und tranken sie reichlich. Inanna tanzte mehrmals für Enki, erzählte lustige und auch deftige Geschichten über die Priesterinnen in ihren Liebestempeln. Enki trank dabei ein Pokal mit Bier nach dem anderen, dem Inanna heimlich noch einige anregende Kräuter hinzugefügt hatte. Dann bat sie ihn schließlich mit ihrer süßesten Stimme um ihre MEs und Enki willigte ein, obwohl er wusste, das er hierfür Enlils Zustimmung brauchte. Als Enki schließlich eingeschlafen war, machte sich Inanna mit den MEs davon. Da sie nicht ausschließen konnte, dass Enki es sich nach dem Erwachen anders überlegte, hatte sie vorgebaut und war mit zwei Raumschiffen gekommen. Das offizielle Schiff schickte Inanna zur Tarnung nach Hause, während sie mit ihrem privaten Schiff das Weite suchte und sich in einem unterirdischem Heiligtum der Drachen versteckte. Als Enki wieder erwachte und begriff, was geschehen war, befahl er seinen Dienern lautstark, Inanna zu verfolgen und die MEs zurück zu bringen, wohl um die anderen zu beschwichtigen. Im Grunde genommen war er nicht wirklich böse über diese Gelegenheit, Enlil tüchtig zu ärgern. Es ist in der Familie von Anu Sitte, sich mit dem Willen zur Macht Achtung zu erwerben. So waren am Ende Enki und Enlil von Inannas Wagemut so beeindruckt und erlaubten ihr, die MEs zu behalten. Sie machten sie sogar zum Mitglied des Familienrates – dem Pantheon der Zwölf. Inanna hatte damit eine stärkere Machtstellung innerhalb der Familie und dazu die Technologie, um eigene Städte zu gründen und ließ sich in ihrem Überschwang zur Königin des Himmels und der Erde ausrufen.


	DUMUZI und INANNA


	Als jüngster Sohn von Enki trug Dumuzi den Titel: Königlicher Schafhirte und war für alle Haustiere auf Terra zuständig. Um ihre Macht und Einfluss zu vergrößern und ihre Stellung innerhalb der Familie zu stärken, brauchte Inanna einen passenden Ehemann. Ihre Wahl fiel notgedrungen auf Dumuzi, da alle älteren Söhne Enkis schon vergeben waren und sie heiratete ihn mit der Absicht, dadurch Königin von Ägypten zu werden. Allerdings hatte sie nicht vor, Dumuzis Erwartungen zu erfüllen und ihn ständig zu Diensten zu sein. Sie empfand ihn ehr als eingebildet und selbstsüchtig und floh aus seiner Nähe in ihre Liebestempel, suchte sich immer neue Aufgaben, wodurch sie ständig mit dem Raumschiff zwischen den Tempeln unterwegs sein konnte. Um die Familie zu beschwichtigen, dachte sie sich viele Rituale für die erste Seifenoper aus, die sich natürlich um ihre Hochzeit und ein glückliches Familienlaben drehten, was zwar nicht zutraf, wovon aber noch heute in Überlieferungen die Rede ist.

Eine der beliebtesten Gottheiten war der Schäfergott Dumuzi. Er war ursprünglich ein sterblicher Herrscher, dessen Heirat mit Inanna die Fruchtbarkeit des Landes und des Mutterleibes sicherstellte. Einem Mythos zufolge endete die Ehe mit einer Tragödie: Die Göttin, die beleidigt war durch das gefühllose Verhalten ihres Gatten, entschied, dass er alljährlich sechs Monaten in der Unterwelt verbringen sollte, was zu den trockenen, unfruchtbaren Monaten des heißen Sommers führte. Zum Herbst, welcher bei den Sumerern den Jahresbeginn kennzeichnete, kehrte Dumuzi auf die Erde zurück. Seine Wiedervereinigung mit seiner Gemahlin führte zum Wiederaufleben und zur erneuten Fruchtbarkeit im Tier- und Pflanzenreich. Das neue Jahr begingen die Sumerer mit der Hochzeit von Dumuzi und Inanna. Den Höhepunkt der Feier bildete eine rituelle Vereinigung, wobei der König den Dumuzi und eine Hohepriesterin die Inanna verkörperte. Anderen sumerischen Göttern unterstanden Flüsse, Berge, Ebenen, Städte, Felder, Bauernhöfe und Werkzeuge.

	DUMUZIS Tod

Die Macht eines Paares kann nur an einen Sohn vererbt werden, doch die Ehe von Inanna und Dumuzi war kinderlos geblieben. Also musste ein Erbe her.

Inspiriert vom Beispiel Antu und Ninhursag, die ja bekanntlich ein Kind von ihren Brüdern hatten, kam Inanna auf die Idee, Dumuzi davon zu überzeugen, ebenfalls mit seiner Schwester Geshtinanna ein Kind zu zeugen. Ein paar Schmeicheleien über seine Erblinie genügten schon, um ihn für diese Idee zu begeistern. So ließ Inanna für die beiden ein romantisches Picknick mit besonders „anregenden” Kräuterweinen vorbereiten. Geshtinanna schöpfte keinerlei Verdacht, doch als Dumuzi die Sprache auf ein gemeinsames Kind brachte, wies sie ihn zurück – schließlich wollte sie bis zur Hochzeit rein bleiben. Als alle Überredungsversuche scheiterten, verlor Dumuzi die Beherrschung und vergewaltigte sie.
Vergewaltigung war ein schweres Verbrechen und würde Konsequenzen haben. Von Alpträumen geplagt wandte sich Dumuzi an Inanna und ihre Mutter Ningal, die ihm rieten, erst mal unterzutauchen, bis der Wirbel sich gelegt hatte.
Doch das war die ersehnte Möglichkeit für Marduk, seinen kleinen Bruder mitsamt Inannas ägyptischen Ambitionen aus dem Weg zu schaffen. Er ließ Dumuzi auf seiner Flucht in die Berge jagen, der dann schließlich von Marduks Leuten mit einer Strahlenwaffe getötet wurde.
Nun war Inanna wieder ohne Ehemann. Um doch noch an einen Sohn zu kommen, wollte sie sich ein altes plejadisches Gesetz zunutze machen, das besagte: wenn ein Mann ohne einen Erben starb, musste sein Bruder, auch wenn bereits verheiratet, die Witwe heiraten und mit ihr ein Kind zeugen. Inanna dachte dabei an Dumuzis Bruder Nergal. Alle warnten sie davor, sich mit Ereshkigal, seiner Ehefrau und Inannas Halbschwester, anzulegen. Doch Inanna wischte alle Warnungen beiseite. Sie hatte nur die Erbanlagen und die blauen Augen von Nergal im Sinn, den sie immer schon bewundert hatte.
